It’s Official
After being laid off for the last 4 months, hubby finally got the official word that his company is shutting down. He has already been working at another job for several weeks now but it’s still a bit of a let down. I can’t say that we were all that surprised by the news but of course disappointed because we had hoped that they would eventually start production again. Oh well, what can you do? At least by telling the employees they can now get their severance packages so that is a good thing. Hubby had only been there 8 years but the majority of the employees have been there 20 to 30 years so they will get a very nice package plus there were several out there that are ready to retire anyway so this is good news for them. They get their severance package and their pension. I’m glad this is good for some people 
Uugh, I’ve had a nasty cold the last few days. As a matter of fact, I took yesterday off and I haven’t done that since

Sorry to here about the redundancy – it’s always a worry. P may be facing the same later this year.
